The all-women sports show We Need to Talk premieres today on CBS Sports network, just in time for its female panelists to tackle the controversy surrounding the NFL and its handling of domestic violence. “They can talk the talk. They bring their experiences as young girls, women, mothers, daughters to the topics,” says producer Emilie Deutsch about the panel to the Associated Press, which includes veteran sports broadcaster Lesley Visser, former Oakland Raiders CEO Amy Trask, sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson, boxer Laila Ali, and basketball star Lisa Leslie. In fact, the first two segments planned for today’s premiere will both discuss the league’s domestic violence crisis. Producer Suzanne Smith, added “[Viewers] are craving these women’s voices now more than ever before.”
